Ore handling involves the transportation and management of extracted materials such as lithium, chromium, among others. These ores typically come from neighboring countries like Zambia and Zimbabwe, as well as in smaller quantities domestically. They are transported in trucks weighing approximately 30 tons. Upon arrival at the warehouse, our team oversees the weighing process for bags weighing between 1000 kg to 1500 kg or bulk shipments. Afterward, they are stored inside the facility, with possible re-bagging before being packaged into containers. Throughout this process, the OZIVA team closely monitors operations to ensure compliance.
Ore loading and unloading are usually carried out by machinery with the assistance of personnel, although manual unloading may occur in exceptional cases.
